Balayage/lived in hair color
Amanda has a message to her clients: “I want you to have fun with your hair. I want all the things about the style to suit you—from the shape of the cut, the movement of the color, down to the number of salon visits and styling rituals.” Wow, that sounds great, right? Amanda loves doing short hair including men’s hair and gender fluid looks, bobs, razor cutting, and blowouts. She loves creating fullness and movement with the right cut for fine hair. Her color
specialties include natural/lived-in looks, balayage, color melting, ombres, and sombres. She loves creating custom blends for unnatural hair colors, too. Amanda has been doing hair since around 2010, coming to us from South Carolina, where she worked at a modern vintage-inspired salon called Bombshell Beauty Studio. She studied at Paul Mitchell the School, Jacksonville, Florida,
under a master barber, apprenticing under a Schwarzkopf educator. Since then, she has worked on photoshoots for promotional work, business, portraits, and fashion. She believes that the health of the hair is the most important part of any style, and that you should respect its boundaries and treat it right. She likes to collaborate with each client, helping them find a great hairstyle that matches their
lifestyle. Amanda is from Columbia, South Carolina. She plays drums, and loves to bake, read, and enjoy the outdoors.
