Gabrielle considers feeling amazing to be an art form. A hairstyle can make you feel empowered and confident, and can make or break an overall look; the health of the hair being important for overall mental and physical health. And Gabrielle takes this art form very seriously, handling your hair with the utmost care. Gabrielle went to The French Academy of Cosmetology in Spring Lake, Michigan, graduating in 2008 and working at Donaylle Nicole Hair Studio in Grand Haven. She has taken continuing education classes with Vidal Sassoon, Redken, Aveda, Oribe, and more. Gabrielle is also a freelance artist and has worked on many commercial and editorial shoots for corporations such as Nike and Intel. Her work has been published in Rebelicious Magazine and others. At New Vintage, she specializes in hair design (cutting), styling, and natural makeup. Gabrielle loves shaping haircuts to compliment your natural texture and your best features, so that heavy styling is not required on a daily basis. Her goal is to communicate clearly about the service during the consultation, but also throughout the whole service. Gabrielle considers herself a citizen of the world, having lived in Chandler, Arizona, Tokyo Japan, and Grand Haven, Michigan. However, she has been in Oregon since 2010 and considers Portland to be her home now. She was a ballet dancer before beauty school. She loves being active and eating healthy food, painting, modeling, hiking, photography, and any artistic thing she’s capable of exploring.
