Blonding: balayages and platinum
Fine and/or curly hair types
Madelin wants everyone who sits in her hair chair to feel important and loved. She chose to be a hairstylist foremost because of the contact with other people, believing that hair completes a person and can bring security and confidence. When your hair is at its best, you feel your best. Hair can highlight the best part of a person—their face—their beautiful cheekbones, bright eyes, their smile. Madelin feels privileged to help her clients display who they are through their hair, helping them express creativity, boost self-esteem, and bring out their beauty. Madelin is from Williamsport, Pennsylvania, and attended Barone Beauty Academy. Since 2010, she has taken extensive color classes at Tigi NYC and the Goldwell Academies, while working at an East Coast salon and specializing in color. She loves utilizing blonding techniques to create beautiful balayages, stunning platinums, or a clean canvas to get creative with fashion colors. Mid-length cuts are her favorite, and she loves to have fun with shorter styles. She tends to cut fine hair and curly hair both with a dry cutting technique. Madelin, with her husband, does photography and videography for weddings, and special events; she loves to help people tell their stories. She loves traveling and embarking on road trips with her husband and family, exploring places, meeting people, and taking photos. She enjoys nearly any creative outlet she can get her hands on, particularly knitting, painting and creating music. For Madelin, creating gorgeous hair is just another way to share her love and her art. Madelin’s two favorite cities are Cape Town, South Africa and Paris, France, but feels most at home here in Portland, spending time with her family, friends and husband.
